Chess Team at National Chess Tournament MMS recently had 4 participants compete in the National Chess Tournament on Oahu and it was the first time three out of the four had a chance to participate. Everyone came out with at least one victory with the top player Kaelo Kalani winning 3 out of 5 games. Chess Coach, Mike Hino says, "We all came out of this with enjoyable experiences and lots to learn and build upon." Hino wants to thank MMS and Principal Dawn Mains for their support. Keep up with the latest news on the Chess Program by following us on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram and checking in on the Molokai Middle School Website.
